This short series of Photo Walks is designed to let you explore a variety of Lake District locations, sharing the experience with like-minded people and moving at a photographers pace. The emphasis is on an enjoyable, friendly approach, enjoying the surroundings and taking taking advantage of the many photographic opportunities along the way.
Each walk will be approximately 5km in length, lasting around two and a half hours, and while we will not be venturing up the fells, we will be away from the roads and some gentle uphill (plus the occasional stile) will be involved. A good level of general fitness is required.
The walks are open to everyone, from complete beginner to expert; no formal tuition is provided, but lots of helpful hints and advice are always available and in the past the sharing of ideas and suggestions has been a much-liked feature of the walks.
As the walks take place in November in the Lake District, appropriate clothing and footwear will be required and I would strongly recommend walking boots as there is a good chance of it being wet underfoot.
The walks will take place on 15th, 22nd and 29th November 2021and will all start at 10:00 am. Details of where to meet will be provided to those who register. All walks will be in the South or Central Lake District.
Each walk will cost £10 per person and this is to be paid on the day. However, you will need to book your place in advance as places are limited and these walks have proved very popular in the past.
To book your place, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
stating which dates you would like to sign up for. You will then be sent a confirmation email & full details of meeting places etc.
